Revlon Sweeps Dangles Diamonds and Glitzy Parties

Just in time for the holidays, Revlon is out with a sweepstakes dangling Hollywood style parties and diamond rings.

The Revlon Wrap Yourself in Red Sweepstakes offers participants a chance to win a trip to Entertainment Weekly’s 2005 Emmy Awards Party in Los Angeles, a Kwiat clover-shaped right-hand diamond ring worth $4,900, a new designer wardrobe and $500 worth of Revlon color cosmetics.

In an related promotion, customers that purchase $15 or more of Revlon color cosmetics, get a free satin evening clutch and can be automatically entered for a chance to win a Kwiat seven-star diamond pendant. Eligible customers have to send in their receipts and UPC symbols to be receive the clutch. The winner of the pendant will find a card in the bag letting them know they have won.

A full-page promotion at Revlon.com touts the promotion. And when visitors click on the sparkling image of spokesperson Holly Berry, with the tag line “Be a Star the Holiday Season,” a voice over says, “Do you ever dream of walking down the red carpet? Now you can, thanks to Revlon.”

In-store materials support. Both promotions end Dec. 15.

Deutsch, New York, developed the promotion and Gage Marketing Group, Minneapolis, manages sweepstakes, fulfillment and the drawing for the pendant.
