Revenue, Income Up for Acxiom

Acxiom Corporation, Conway, AR, had third-quarter revenue of $187.9 million, a 28% increase from $147.9 million in third-quarter 1998. Net earnings for the quarter were $13.8 million, up 16% from $11.9 million. The quarter ended Dec. 31, 1998.

Broken down by operating division, the Services Division had revenue of $51.5 million, up 35% over the prior year; the Alliances Division had revenue of $49.7 million, up 27%; the May & Speh Division had revenue of $43.0 million, up 63%; and the International Division had revenue of $10.6 million, up 9%. At $33.1 million, the Data Products Division was flat to last year.

Acxiom provides a wide spectrum of data products, data integration services, mailing list services, modeling & analysis, and information technology outsourcing services, as well as data warehousing and decision support services to major U.S. and international firms.
