Residential Broadband Adoption Skyrockets: Pew

Adoption of high-speed Internet access at home grew twice as fast in the 12 months prior to March 2006 than it did the previous year, according to a new study by the Pew Internet and American Life Project.

At the end of March 2006, 42% of Americans had high-speed Internet access at home, compared to 30% in March 2005, according to the Pew Internet Project.
