Peterman Acquirer Paul Harris Sees First Quarter Income Drop

Paul Harris Stores Inc., Indianapolis, IN, had first-quarter sales of $58.4 million, up from $52.3 million in first-quarter 1998. Net sales were $683,000, down from $1.57 million, largely due to soft April sales. The quarter ended May 1.
