PC Mall To Buy Sarcom Inc. for $55 Million

Catalog and Internet marketer PC Mall Inc. an entered into an agreement to purchase Sarcom Inc., a Columbus, OH-based technology services company. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter

Under terms of the agreement, PC Mall will pay $47.5 million in cash and up to $7.5 million worth of shares in PC Mall stock. The exact price is subject to adjustment, based on Sarcom’s value net asset value at the time of closing.

Sarcom reported approximately $248 million in revenues in 2006 and $163 million for the first seven moths of this year, an increase of 23% compared to the same time period last year.

PC Mall’s preliminary unaudited net sales for July this year were approximately $89 million, an increase of 24% compared to its $72 million July 2006 sales.
