Opportunity Rings

A survey of 15,000 mobile community users, ages 18 to 25, found that:

48% would accept ads on their mobile phone in exchange for free service or the chance to win a prize.

55% would do it for a free ringtone.

56% would watch five or more ads every day to get a free cell phone.

71% wouldn’t stop using their phone if they received ads.

30% have bought a product after seeing an ad on their phone.

29% of mobile users have clicked on a cell phone ad.

21% have participated in a mobile contest or promotion.

The poll was conducted via e-mail by mobile community provider AirG.
