New York City-based Nickelodeon this Halloween scares up its first promotion with Hershey Foods, Hershey, PA. Nick or Treat offers kids the chance to enter a contest for a vault of Hershey’s chocolate and the chance to trick-or-treat with the cast of Nick’s “All That” TV show. Entry forms are found at nick.com, in “Nickelodeon” magazine, and inside packages of Hershey’s chocolate bars. Ten million Hershey’s plain, with almonds, and Cookies & Cream bars will sport engraved images of SpongeBob SquarePants, Tommy Pickles, and Jimmy Neutron. On-pack messaging on bulk packages of Hershey’s Halloween candy supports. Nickelodeon will randomly call 500 kids who entered the contest, and whoever answers the phone “Nick or Treat” wins the grand prize. Nick and Hershey’s handle in-house.
