GENERAL MILLS: has inked a licensing deal with Senario, a Woodstock, IL-based designer and manufacturer of home and entertainment products. The deal includes a line of microbead and plush pillows featuring Trix, Coca Puffs, Count Chocula, Franken Berry, Lucky Charms, Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios. The line is available at Kohl’s, JCPenney, Linens N Things and Bed, Bath and Beyond.

DRAFT: Chicago, is looking to hire 50 staffers across all departments (creative, account services, interactive, multi-cultural and healthcare). Draft has already built its staff 11% this year (24% since 2003), mostly to serve new clients Nokia, L.A. Times, Johnson & Johnson, S.C. Johnson and The American Marketing Association, and to handle increased business from existing clients including Masterfoods USA, Procter & Gamble, Kellogg, MilkPEP and the U.S. Postal Service. Revenues are up 10% in 2005, Draft reports.

RETAIL AGENCY: Mass Connections, Cerritos, CA, is working with non-profit KidsPeace to distribute childhood obesity materials in supermarkets during the holidays. The effort, dubbed “Join the Fight, Help Kids Eat Right,” includes activity books and flying discs for kids (and brochures for parents) with tips on healthy eating. Materials also send consumers to KidsPeace’s Web site, TeenCentral.net, to hone problem-solving skills.
