Internet provider NetZero is promoting its services via entertainment programming discs packaged into drink cup lids and distributed to consumers nationwide beginning this summer.
Several limited edition discs featuring pop music as well as NetZero special offers will be distributed through outlets such as Regal Cinemas, Sbarro and Blimpie restaurants. Each disc, created by LidRock, as well as LidRock.com, will provide consumers with special NetZero offers for NetZero Platinum and NetZero HiSpeed Internet service.
Initial programs include a Janet Jackson disc in Regal Cinemas as well as an Alanis Morrisette disc at Blimpie.
