NBC Daytime Offers Fans Loyalty Contest

NBC Daytime is giving fans of the network’s popular daytime dramas Days of Our Lives and Passions a chance to win a little fame through a new loyalty contest.

The NBC Daytime Rewards Loyalty contest lets viewers 14 and older submit their names to enter a drawing to hear their name broadcast or see their name displayed on screen during weekday programming in February. Selected winners names will appear during NBC Daytime’s first “Fan February.”

In addition, 10,000 grand-prize winners will receive a blue Days of Our Lives bracelet or a purple Passions bracelet, which are only available through the contest.

“Our viewers have made the NBC Daytime block No. 1 and this is a way of showing our appreciation for their loyalty,” said Sheraton Kalouria, senior VP-daytime programming, NBC Entertainment, in a statement.

Fans have until Jan. 15 to send in a postcard proclaiming their dedication to watching the shows. NBC’s programs are No. 1 among women 18 to 49 for the season.

On-air spots and Internet material support the promotion.
