Information Refinery Offers Free Lists to Help With Hurricane Relief
Information Refinery Inc. is offering nonprofit organizations, government agencies and other humanitarian groups data from its Construction Marketplace master file at no charge to assist with recovery from Hurricane Katrina. The offer applies to 190,000 postal records within a 500-mile radius of New Orleans. Additionally, the firm is offering to donate more than 6,000 e-mail records for the same geographic area derived from various e-mail files. “Hopefully, our lists can help these organizations communicate with and mobilize the builders, remodelers, contractors, engineers and architects that will be needed,” said company president Gordon Clothworthy, in a statement. Information Refinery is also offering to transmit e-mail campaigns for such groups to the affected region at no charge.
George-Mann Opens Headquarters in Charlotte
George-Mann Associates Inc. has reorganized operations and relocated its corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC. List management services will be provided at the firm’s office in Freehold, NJ. Compiled lists and data processing services now will be handled in North Carolina and at the firm’s Ocean Township, NJ office. Colleen Ford Named General Manager at Firstmark
Colleen Ford has been promoted to general manager of operations at Firstmark Inc. Ford will oversee all sales and technical operations related to list counts and order fulfillment for more than business-to-business 300 lists and database products. Ford has been with the Campton, NH-based firm since May 2003.
