Lipton Taps National Parks as Prizes

Lipton is out with a sweeps that sends the winners on getaways to some of the nation’s national parks.

The sweeps, in partnership with the National Park Foundation, runs during June, July and August.

Consumers can enter at Lipton.com/summersweeps. Each month, one winner and a guest will get a four-night, five-day exploration package of a park. In June, the winner goes to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in Los Angeles, in July the destination is National Mall park sites in Washington, DC, and the final award in August is a trip to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco. The prize includes airfare, car rental, accommodations and $1,000 in spending money.

“[The sweeps] encourages today’s active consumers to enjoy the great outdoors,” said Bauke Rouwers, Unilever VP-general manager, Lipton Tea North America, in a statement.
