Kraft Promotes Finard to Global Post

Kraft Foods named Jeri Finard to oversee new-product growth and set global category strategies as executive VP-global category development.

Finard, a 20-year veteran at Kraft, had group VP and president of Kraft’s Beverages division and is credited with overseeing the U.S. launch of Tassimo beverage system, and helping develop distribution and marketing alliances with Starbucks and Tazo.

Finard replaces John Baxter, who was promoted to group VP and president of Kraft’s Snacks & Cereals division in March.
