Inter Parfums, Inc. and outdoor sports and lifestyle company Quiksilver, Inc. have signed a worldwide licensing deal to make and distribute a line of personal care products.
Fragrance, suncare, skincare and related products will be created under the Roxy brand and suncare and related products will be developed under the Quiksilver brand. The agreement runs through 2017.
The first product line to be introduced will be a Roxy fragrance family in late 2007 followed by a Quiksilver suncare line.
The products, all new product categories for each of the brands, target Quiksilver’s young demographic, which includes surfboarders, skateboarders and snowboarders.
Quiksilver produces a mix of branded apparel, winter sports and golf equipment, footwear, accessories and related products. Inter Parfums develops, manufacturers and distributes perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Burberry, Lanvin, Paul Smith, S.T. Dupont, Christian Lacroix, Celine and Diane von Furstenberg. It also has an exclusive agreement with Gap, Inc., to design and manufacturer personal care products for Gap’s and Banana Republic’s North American stores.
