InfoUSA Makes Debt Prepayment

InfoUSA, Omaha, NE, will make a $3 million prepayment on its senior debt credit facility. The company had borrowed $165 million in July 1999 to finance its acquisition of Donnelley Marketing.

The Omaha, NE-based information and data service provider has made approximately $25 million in prepayments and $6 million in scheduled amortization payments since the acquisition.

The company attributed its ability to make the prepayment to reduced employee headcount and cutbacks in the expenses of its Internet operations. These austerity moves resulted in expense savings of $4 million a month, infoUSA CFO Stormy Dean said in a statement.
