Hostess Rallies Around Racing Divas
Hostess is revving its snack cakes line with an online instant-win game awarding trips to watch its Racing Divas— Patrick, Leilani Munter and Melanie Troxel—
The Treats and Tracks game will award 10 grand-prize packages to watch a race in Daytona, Indianapolis or Las Vegas.
Fans register at Hostesscakes.com, then enter a UPC from Twinkies, Cup Cakes or Donettes donuts to get an instant-win message. The game runs through March.
The divas will appear on-pack through February; race-related packaging and promos will continue through yearend.
Kansas City-based Interstate Baking Corp. signed the three drivers in November to be Hostess Racing Divas. Hostess’ Web site also carries recipes and bios of the drivers. Momentum Worldwide, New York, handles the promotion for Hostess.
