Grocers Host Vegetarian Cooking Tour

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Vegetarian Times is launching a cooking tour to mark its 30th anniversary and tout its redesign.

The seven-state tour will bring regional chefs to supermarkets to give cooking demonstrations. The first 100 shoppers at each stop get a goody bag with product samples, recipe cards, coupons, brochures and a free copy of the magazine.

The tour will hit Whole Foods Markets, Wild Oats, Henry’s and Kings Supermarkets. Tour sponsors are natural foods brands Bob’s Red Mill, Colavita, Hodgson Mill, Ian’s, Nasoya, Quality of Life, Rapunzel, Spectrum, Vitasoy and Wisdom Herbs.

The redesign debuts with the November/December issue. Active Interest Media, El Segundo, CA, publishes the 100,000-circulation magazine.
