Former Amex VP Joins Carlson Marketing
Carlson Marketing has hired Sherry Derby Kapralos, a former veteran of American Express, as senior director of business development, a new position.
Kapralos will be responsible for developing relationship marketing approaches with clients in the high tech and telecom industries focusing on events, meetings and engagement programs. She will work out of the San Francisco office.
Most recently, Kapralos had been vice president and general manager, relationship management for American Express, where she worked for 15 years. Prior to that she worked in investment banking and consumer packaged goods.
“I’m actively working with companies to help them establish more meaningful relationships with customers, employees and business partners to drive revenue and shareholder value,” Kapralos said in a release.
She is active in the Corporate Event Marketing Association, Meeting Professionals International and the Marketing Executives Networking Group.
