Fisher-Price Kicks Off Birthday Sweeps
Fisher-Price is inviting consumers to join the party for its 75th birthday with an online sweepstakes touting shopping sprees and a grand-prize trip to the 2005 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
To enter the Fisher-Price 75th Birthday Celebration Sweepstakes, consumers must log on to Fisher-Price.com and complete an entry form to play an online game. During the game, one of four birthday balloons will appear on screen. After players select a balloon, it will burst and reveal whether or not the player is an instant winner of a $75 shopping spree or invite them to play again the next day.
As part of the sweepstakes, Fisher-Price is giving away 75 $75 shopping sprees. One grand-prize winner will get a four-day, three-night trip to New York City to attend the 2005 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with VIP seating, hotel accommodations, tickets to the Empire State Building, Thanksgiving dinner at the Loews Regency Hotel and $1,500 spending money.

The sweepstakes is part of Fisher-Price’s yearlong birthday celebration, which kicked off last year at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with a float the “Magic of Childhood.” The toy-maker is continuing its celebration with a 12-city tour and mobile playpen (Xtra April 6). The tour, which launched in March and concludes in October, commemorates the company’s 75th anniversary with traveling play areas for children and parents. San Antonio-based Market Vision handles.
