Facebook Introduces Objective-Based Ad Buying and Reporting to Simplify the Advertising Process

Facebook bannerFacebook is taking another step with its effort to simplify the process of running ads on its social network, which it first shared about in June. Now the process of buying a Facebook ad starts with a question: “What’s your advertising objective?”

The company is calling its updates “objective-based ad buying and reporting.” Now marketers can start the process of buying ads by choosing one of the following eight objectives:
