Entertainment Marketing Hires New CEO

Entertainment Marketing, Inc. has named John Davidoff as its CEO. The appointment took effect June 16.

Most recently Davidoff was senior VP-U.S. marketing and sales at Omnicom’s Radiate Group. He replaces former CEO and founder Mitch Berk, who left the company at the end of last year.

Eighteen-year-old Chicago-based EMI was ranked No. 19 on the 2003 PROMO 100 list (June PROMO). Key clients include Anheuser-Busch, Eastman Kodak and Coty Fragrances. Since 1999, EMI has been backed by private equity firms Svoboda Collins LLC and CID Mezzanine Partners.

Davidoff was most recently senior VP-U.S. marketing and sales at Omnicom’s Radiate Group.
