Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. reported net income of $21.7 million for the first quarter, a 90% surge over net income of $11.4 million last year.
The Pittsburgh-based firm posted net sales of $823.6 million for the quarter ended May 5, a 28% increase over net sales of $643.4 million last year.
