Datran Names Vogt Chairman/CEO

Datran Media, a digital marketing technology company, has named Patrick Vogt chairman and chief executive officer.
He joins the firm from Enliven Marketing Technologies Corp. where he had served as CEO since 2005.
Vogt succeeds Alan Laifer, who co-founded Datran 2001. Mr. Laifer will continue to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.
Vogt joined Enliven as CEO in Aug. 2005, after having served on its board of directors since the previous October 2004.
Before that, he was vice president and general manager of Sony’s direct-to-consumer business. In 1999, he joined Dell as general manager responsible for the aftermarket sales and marketing division and Dell Online.
