Commerce Opens Hosted CRM Offerings To France, Holland And The U.K.

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Commerce Corp. has expanded its customer relationship management hosting service to France, Holland and the United Kingdom.

Commerce provides CRM software to small- and mid-sized organizations. The company has been selling a European version of its desktop contact management and sales force automation for 15 years. Its latest endeavor opens the company’s software-as-a-service capacity to these three European markets.

The CRM software includes account and contact management, activity management, lead management, sales force automation, marketing management and customer service or ticketing.

“Small to mid-size companies are definitely migrating toward software-as-a-service,” said Hans Wegman, managing director of Memocom, Commence’s exclusive distributor in Holland and Germany. “Due to the economic conditions, smaller businesses are looking to reduce their IT infrastructure costs by having the vendor operate and manage the application software.”

Denis Moran, president of Istri, the distributor that represents Commence in France, said, “We still see a high demand for desktop applications, but more and more of our customers are inquiring about a hosted solutions.”
