Archway Taps McGonagle, Borman

Fulfillment house Archway Marketing Services has added two veterans to its management team.

Borman McGonagle

Archway hired Bob McGonagle as VP-North America operations and Bob Borman as VP-games, contests & sweepstakes, both new posts at Minneapolis-based Archway.

McGonagle will oversee all North American consumer fulfillment operations at Archway’s centralized distribution and warehouse facilities (total warehouse space: two million square feet). He had been manager of operations integration at catalog marketer Fingerhut and has 20 years of experience in the fulfillment and warehousing industry.

At Fingerhut and, earlier, Interlake, McGonagle oversaw planning and implementation of warehouse facility design, physical reengineering projects, warehouse operations, and hardware and software system integration.

Borman will lead Archway’s Sweepstakes, Games & Contests division. He had been VP-general manager at Gage Marketing Group and has run his own consultancy since June 2002. Borman has a national reputation as an expert in executing sweepstakes, games and contests.

“I’m thrilled with the addition of Mr. McGonagle and Mr. Borman to our executive team. They bring the breadth and depth of expertise in their particular disciplines, which enables Archway to continue differentiating and innovating our services,” said Murad Velani, president of Archway’s Consumer Fulfillment division, in a statement.

Archway is privately held by AHL Services, Inc., based in Alexandria, VA.
