Alltel Wireless Runs “Hoops Getaway” Sweeps
Alltel Wireless is offering its customers a chance at a free trip to a college or pro basketball game with members of their calling circle.
Wireless customers can register for the Alltel “My Circle Hoops Getaway” by texting the word JET to 57533 or by logging onto www.alltelbasketball.com. Five grand prize winners will be chosen to fly to the regular season game of their choice for a VIP experience.
The winners will also receive Motorola Hint QA30 handset, which includes a full QWERTY keyboard with dedicated keys for the 2 MP camera, MP3 player and Web access.
“Passionate basketball fans are forever hoping to get the chance to see their team play against a rival school or at a famous venue, and Alltel’s ‘My Circle Hoops Getaway’ will allow them to do just that,” said Samira Zebian, Alltel director of sponsorship marketing, in a statement.
One winner and ten friends will meet NBA Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler during their trip.
Alltel’s “My Circle” feature gives customers unlimited free calling to and from any five, 10 or 20 numbers on any network.
