Abacus Direct Corp., Broomfield, CO, had third-quarter revenue of $23 million a 44% increase over revenue of $16 million for the same period a year ago. Net income was $7.0 million, up 40% from $5.0 million.
The third quarter ended Sept. 30.
The company also announced that it added 63 participants to its cooperative catalog database the Abacus Alliance, bringing the total merchants in the Alliance to 1,485.
Abacus Direct, which is in the process of merging with online advertising concern DoubleClick, provides information products and marketing research services to the direct marketing industry.
