Mail.com Opens World.com in Step to Become International Portal

Internet messaging provider Mail.com has opened a wholly owned subsidiary called World.com, it was reported yesterday. The subsidiary is part of the company’s larger strategy to evolve into an international portal, beginning with the Asian market.

Mail.com’s co-founder and president, Gary Millin has become CEO of the subsidiary, which will oversee India.com and Asia.com. Lon Otremba, the COO has taken on Millin’s position.
