Worldcolor Consolidates Toronto Operations

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Worldcolor, formerly Quebecor World, will consolidate its Toronto direct mail, catalog and magazine operations into a single facility.

The company will close its Richmond Hill plant and transfer the production and sales offices to a location in Aurora.

The consolidation of the Toronto area operations will result in a net loss of 200 jobs, with some of the 250 positions eliminated at Richmond Hill being replaced by 50 new hires at Aurora.

The consolidation is expected to be completed by the end of March, 2010.
