USA Networks Inc., New York, has reached an agreement to purchase USA Networks Inc., New York, has reached an agreement to purchase HRN, provider of discount hotel accommodations via the Internet and telephone. HRN is expected to become an operating unit of USAi. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Not unlike many interactive companies, HRN has had zooming growth since it offered Internet services in 1995,” Barry Diller, chairman and CEO of USA Networks, said in a statement.
The transaction is expected to be finalized in June.
