Staples Inc. posted m net income of $336 million for the fourth quarter, a 22% increase over $275 million in the prior-year period.
The direct marketer and retailer reported sales of $5.3 billion for the fourth quarter ended Feb. 3, an 18% increase over $4.49 billion last year.
