RevenueLoop will become the 1st Transparent Affiliate Network beginning April 1st, 2007. After months of calculation and research, RevenueLoop has developed the Transparent Payout Program, which will Redefine Affiliate Marketing for the Benefit of you, the Publisher!
We know that many of our affiliate publishers work with many other Ad Networks to get the best payout available. Now with RevenueLoop’s Transparent Payout Program, we will guarantee you 100% of the payout we receive from our advertisers less a fee for our services such as ad-serving, performance tracking (clicks, impressions, leads, and sales), bandwidth usage, and advertiser recruiting and managing. The price RevenueLoop receives will be transparent to you so there’s no need to shop around other networks. And, the more volume you produce, the less service fee you will pay.
The idea came from combination of the following:
To differentiate RevenueLoop from all of the other affiliate networks. We felt that the pricing model would be fair (among other things) to our publishers. The concept of this pricing model is not new – it is used in other industries, – but it has not yet been utilized in the affiliate network industry.
Affiliate marketing has become like commodity trading in that it is price driven: Publishers will run an offer from whichever network pays them the best (in this case, highest) price. The publisher selects which network to work with largely based upon payout and little else.
Publishers never know what the network is receiving and therefore try to haggle their way to the highest payout possible.
Some networks may mark up a campaign by as much as 50% if they have a strategic advantage that prevents others from having access to the campaign. However, the majority of networks have a markup of 10% to 30% on most campaigns.
Since our payouts have been based on publisher’s volume, we decided that we would make the advertiser’s payout visible to the publisher. The higher the publisher’s volume, the lower the fee they would pay. Service fees are based upon a predetermined values and listed on our site as shown in the chart below.

This system would compensate the publisher for their overall volume, not just on one particular campaign. Say a publisher has high volume on zip code campaign, but their ring tone campaign is not doing so well. In this scenario, the publisher may receive as much as 90% of the payout for the zip code offer, but only 65% of the payout for the ring tone offer. With the Transparent system, the publisher would probably make more money overall: because of the high volume on the zip offer, the ring tone offer would be receiving the same level of payout that the zip code offer is receiving.
The power of all will help every individual publisher earn more. In many instances, the advertiser will pay a higher bounty for higher volume of traffic. Using the Transparent model, if the network receives a higher payout from the advertiser because of the overall volume, the higher payout is then automatically made available to all the publishers, big and small creating a level playing field for our publishers.
Haggling is time a wasted! Transparency has been key to the success of the CPA industry. As a network and advertiser, we demand transparency from our publishers (knowing where, and how every offer is being run). We believe that our publishers deserve the same level of transparency that we demand from them. They too need to know what the payout is and what we are doing with the offer. After all, we are all partners in this….
We thought long and hard about what the negatives about the Transparent Affiliate Network would be, but we were unable to come up with much. One negative we came up with was that other networks may not like what we are doing, but then thought that they may follow the same model soon.
Our goals are to:
a. Make the publisher’s job easier by not having to negotiate payouts
b. Give the publisher the opportunity to earn more than traditional methods since payouts across the board are based on volume
c. Promote transparency within the industry as a whole
d. In sum: to be fair, simple, and earn more.
We also thought that the fees are low enough that the publisher would not mind paying our fees. We also make it known that our fees are for the following services being provided:
e. Ad serving bandwidth usage
f. Ad performance tracking services
g. Ad optimization
h. Creative design and related services
i. Maintaining remove lists
j. Advertiser recruiting
k. Fraud management services
l. Advertiser billing and management
m. Publisher customer service
n. And so many other small things that add up when you run a network…
