Racking Up the Miles

Netcentives, Inc., San Francisco, announced that OfficeMax.com has joined ClickRewards, the frequent flyer mile prize online shopping network. Aimed at the proprietors of small businesses, home offices, and general consumers, program participants can earn ClickMiles good on seven leading airlines when purchasing from over 20,000 office supplies, office furniture, and office electronics offered by OfficeMax.com.

First time OfficeMax shoppers who make purchases of more than $200, will earn 250 ClickMiles from ClickRewards. Registered members subsequently earn 50 ClickMiles for each and every item purchased in the “Your OfficeMax” area.

“The Internet has become an increasingly important part of our customer’s businesses,” says Michael Feuer, Office Max’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Since it was launched in April of this year, ClickRewards has given its hundreds of thousands of members over 20 million ClickMiles for shopping online at barnesandnoble.com, garden.com, The Music Boulevard Network,and other stores.
