NORWALK, CT-BASED Priceline.com Inc. plans to cut 16% of its work force. Heidi Miller, the high-profile CFO of the firm, resigned, reportedly saying she wanted to move on to a “more established business environment.” Bob Mylod, formerly senior vice president of finance, was named as her replacement. The name-your-own-price dot-com said the staff reductions would amount to 87 members of its total staff of 535 employees.
