Claire Rosenzweig, the long-term president of The Promotion Marketing Association, resigned her post effective March 9.
Rosenzweig had been president since 1996.
Also yesterday, the PMA named Bonnie J. Carlson as interim president effective March 12.
Carlson has been a PMA member since 1985. She was a chairman from 1993 to 1994 and has chaired a number of the organization’s national conferences and committees.
She recently worked for ConAgra Foods Retail Products as vice president of integrated marketing.
