Peyton Manning Plugs for Bud
If you’re a Denver Broncos fan, it was a great day on Super Bowl Sunday. If you’re Budweiser it might have been an even better day.
Peyton Manning may be celebrating his Super Bowl 50 win, but he’s also has the media and social media lighting up with his off-handed plugs for Budweiser during his post-game interview. After the win he told a reporter, “I want to go kiss my wife and my kids. I want to go hug my family. I’m going to drink a lot of Budweiser tonight, Tracy, I promise you that.”
The Washington Post reminds us that players are “not allowed to endorse alcoholic beverages” and takes a look at other times Manning has also called out Bud amid speculation that he still may own a share of some Budweiser distributorships. Either way, a nod to Budweiser as millions of footballs fans watch is a winning touchdown for Bud.
