Apparel designer Perry Ellis International has hired Brett Dean to serve as CMO. Dean had most recently been senior director of brand marketing and public relations at Abercrombie & Fitch. Prior to that, he was creative director at Calvin Klein Cosmetics Company. In new role, Dean will be responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing strategies, brand management, direct and online marketing, advertising, promotions and marketing communications.
Digital marketing agency JHG has hired Morgan Witt to serve as director of digital strategy and Jan Whitbeck as senior account executive. Witt was previously manager of marketing and strategic partnerships at Red Door Interactive, and before that founded NovoLogiq. Whitbeck was promotions director and account executive at two Denver-based radio stations.
