Della & James, San Francisco, has raised $45 million from Amazon.com; retailers the Neiman Marcus Group, Crate & Barrel and Williams-Sonoma; and investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Trinity Ventures.
The financing will be used to help secure the online wedding gift registry’s leadership and to launch the company’s all-occasion gift registry this holiday season.
As part of the strategic relationship with Amazon.com, Della & James’ registry will be available through the online bookseller.
