New York City-based Omnicom Group added to its Diversified Agency Services last month by acquiring The Promotion Network, Dallas.
The 17-year-old agency has revenues in the $15 million range and offices in New York City and Chicago. Founded by former McDonald’s executive Roger Winter, the shop has had long-term relationships with such blue-chip brands as Nabisco and Gatorade, and this year added 7-Eleven to its client roster.
The Promotion Network was targeted because of its strategic capabilities, according to DAS chairman Thomas Harrison. Principals Roger Winter, Sharon Love, and Rich Feitler will remain at the helm, Harrison says.
Omnicom’s DAS division includes such promotion agencies as GMR Marketing, TLP, Inc., U.S. Marketing & Promotions, and Alcone Marketing.
