Moosylvania Wins AOR for Sapporo USA
Sapporo USA has hired Moosylvania Marketing, a promotion, digital and branding agency as its U.S. agency of record.
First work for Sapporo, the No. 1 selling Asian beer in the U.S., will launch nationally in the first quarter of 2011. The work will include all integrated advertising, grassroots guerilla and other promotion campaigns with a goal of increasing the brand’s market share beyond its core base, Nick Foppe, executive vice president, director of client services for Moosylvania said.
The review for the work included six finalists, the agency said.
“We were brought in as a new agency based on a lot of the consumer packaged goods work that we’ve done, which is why it was a very exciting win for us because we did not have a whole lot of inside knowledge,” Foppe said.
Foppe will be heading the Sapporo internal team and new hires will be brought on to supplement that core team.
The agency’s roster of client includes, Bacardi USA, Enterprise Renta-A-Car, Ocean Spray, K-Mart, Nestlé Purina, Dean Foods and Capital One.
