Meredith Acquires ReadyMade

Meredith Corp. said it will acquire ReadyMade, a do-it-yourself magazine publisher and online marketer.

Terms were not disclosed.

ReadyMade magazine, which was launched in Dec. 2001, offers an online store as well as do-it-yourself projects. The firm’s Web site (www.readymademag.com) also features how-to tips and project ideas and an online community with blogs.

CEO Grace Hawthorne, and editor-in-chief Shoshana Berger will continue in their roles.
