I REALLY ENJOYED “Letters From the Litter Box” (Pushing the Envelope, DIRECT, Nov. 1). As list manager of a feline-oriented catalog, I take special care to mark Fluffy Smith and MamaCat Baker “Do not rent!” They don’t have jobs, so they just lower the response rate anyway. However, that doesn’t always work out. I would have sworn Butterball McKenzie was a cat until I spoke with her on the phone one day.
