The Maryland Attorney General has charged Chesapeake Window and Building, a window contractor based in Linthicum, MD, with making prospecting calls to consumers who had registered their numbers with the national do-not-call list, in violation of the Maryland Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Chesapeake Window and Building had complaints filed against it by more than 120 consumers, according to Attorney General J. Joseph Curran Jr.
