Blair Corp. is offering a blow-in program for the Blair Home catalog. More than 6.3 million catalogs are expected to be mailed in the second half of the year. Only one insert per catalog will be accepted. Insert sizes range from 3-1/2 by 5 inches to 5 by 6 inches, and weigh no more than .25 ounce.

Media Horizons Management now handles this package insert program. Inserts will be included in kits mailed annually to 360,000 new members of the PrivacyGuard program. One insert per package will be accepted. Inserts can be no larger than 5-1/4 by 8 inches. Maximum weight is .20 ounce. The LH Management Division of Leon Henry Inc. formerly managed this program.

HFM Introduces Catalog and Fundraising Pricing
Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. List Management has begun offering catalog and fundraising rates on most of its individual lists; Change of Address Master List and the HFM Z-24 CircBase database. A new $80/M catalog rate reflects a $15/M discount off the base price. A new $70/M fundraising rate reflects a $25/M discount off the base rate. HFM’s titles include American Photo, Boating, Elle, Metropolitan Home and Woman’s Day, to name a few. Hotline selections are reduced from $100/M to $85/M for catalogs, and $75/M for fundraisers. The Z-24 CircBase reduction is from $95/M to $85/M, with a $90/M hotline. “We are pleased to be able to offer these reduced prices for the first time. This will surely improved their ROI, thus increasing the effectiveness of our files,” said in a statement Mary Lauterbach, list sales manager.
Specialists to Test New MarketLens Models
Specialists MultiChannel Solutions LLC plans to begin tests this month for its new MarketLens nine-digit ZIP models. Users will be able to identify clusters of similar households organized by neighborhoods to create prospecting lists. The models can pinpoint list segments smaller than carrier routes or census block groups. Models work best for companies with more than 100,000 active customers and distinctive consumer segments or product niches, according to Specialists.
