Jim Beam Apple Tries Snapchat to Reach Millennials

Jim Beam has set its sites on using the messaging app Snapchat this fall to promote Jim Beam Apple.

Jim Beam Apple and SnapchatVideos promos target Millennials through age-gating, or serving the ads based on a user’s birthday. One clip over the Labor Day weekend showed a beverage being poured over ice.

Brittney Duncan, U.S. media manager at Beam Suntory, Jim Beam’s parent company, weighs in.
