ALC of New York LLC has been appointed manager of two more Hanover Direct Inc. titles, The Company Store and Kitchen & Home. The company will handle lists, package inserts and blow-ins for the files. ALC of New York had been given management of Hanover’s Domestications and Gump’s files.
The appointment “shows a faith in ALC of New York as a provider of an aggressive, unique service. We’ve proven ourselves and we’re pleased that they thought it was in their best interest to award us these two,” Andy Ostroy, the firm’s managing partner, told DIRECT Newsline.
The Company Store catalog features products for the bed, bath and home. The list contains more than 549,000 last-12-month buyers; the package-insert program sends out more than 1 million inserts annually; and the blow-in sends more than 10 million each year.
The Kitchen & Home catalog, with a list of more than 160,000 12-month buyers, features gourmet accessories and cookware. The package insert program sends out more than 195,000 and there are 2 million annual blow ins.
