GMR Marketing in Deal with Agency in Poland

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

GMR Marketing has formed a licensing deal with Poland-based Communication Unlimited, a large engagement-marketing agency.

While the two companies will operate separately and maintain their own identities, both will conduct work under the other’s brand. The partnership will provide GMR with valuable insight and understanding of consumers in this central European country while expanding its global capabilities.

For Communication Unlimited, the deal offers a range of new services provided by GMR and enables the firm to enter new markets, said Elzbieta Wojtczak, Communication Unlimited’s managing director, in a release.

GMR, which is based in Milwaukee, WI, now has 20 offices in eight countries, including the U.K., Germany, Spain, Canada and China.

“Poland is one of the world’s fastest-emerging and most dynamic economies, and one that has great interest for many of our global clients,” said GMR Marketing founder and CEO Gary Reynolds, in a release. “Communication Unlimited has excellent understanding of the local and regional markets and is one that shares our vision, passion and culture.”

GMR, a subsidiary of Omnicom and part of the Radiate Group, is expected to announce other licensing deals in the upcoming months.

GMR ranked No. 15 on the 2009 Promo 100 with U.S. net revenue of $110 million.
