Drs. Foster & Smith Inc., a pet supplies cataloger based in Rhinelander, WI has acquired Pet Warehouse, Inc., a fish, bird, and reptile products cataloger, for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition is expected to add more than $25 million in sales to the veterinarian-owned company, bringing its combined annual revenue to an estimated $150 million.
Co-owner Dr. Marty Smith said in a statement that this purchase was not a bailout of a struggling company, but rather a strategic move that positions the company as a full-line provider of pet products.
