FCB Acquires CM Partners

Chicago advertising agency Foote, Cone & Belding, a subsidiary of True North Communications Inc., has acquired CM Partners, a Rolling Meadows, IL-based full-service direct response agency with 70 employees. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
CM Partners will be integrated into FCB’s existing structure. CM Partners executives Clive MacLean, formerly executive vice president and managing director, and Scott Grafft, formerly head of direct marketing, were named co-directors of FCB’s Impact Direct resources.
CM partners’ clients include the American Medical Association, Bally Fitness and John Deere, among others. FCB Chicago’s billings are more than $1 billion.
