Ray Everett-Church has stepped down from his position as the chairman of Mail Abuse Prevention System LLC corporate advisory board.
Michael D. Rathbun, currently a member of the advisory Board, will succeed Everett-Church as chairman.
“My other advocacy activities have gotten busier, and as a result I’ve found myself with too much on my plate,” Everett Church said in a statement. “Because I committed to these efforts prior to signing on as chairman of MAPS’ advisory board, it is, unfortunately, my MAPS involvement which I have to cut back. I remain committed to MAPS’ goals, and will continue to work with MAPS in any way that I can.”
Everett-Church had served as chairman since the board’s inception in January 2001.
Rathbun previously served as MAPS’ director of customer operations. He left MAPS in February 2001 to join Digital Convergence Corp., where he is director of new product programs.
